Garage Door Concrete Threshold Repair

Using a standard storage facility threshold as an example our concrete repair process would include the following fundamental steps.

This is important so that you will know the desired length that is necessary to cut the garage door threshold.

Begin by removing the existing threshold from your door. Be careful not to accidentally saw into your flooring. The driveway is asphalt butting up to the concrete threshold entering the garage. Remove damaged concrete in the repair areas.

Drill and place rebar reinforcement rods if needed. Cut the old threshold with a back saw or a reciprocating saw. Use a pencil to make a mark on where to cut the garage door threshold.
