Access door gap between floor and bottom of door safety must not exceed 14 reversing sensor.

You must attach the bracket that connects the arm to the door before you can attach the arm itself.
I left the door in the lift bay alone and just offset the opener completely outboard of the upper rail on one side.
You can do this with a jigsaw or a circular saw sanding off the bottom and replacing it in the frame so it sits properly.

To adjust your garage door s side mounted springs first open your door fully and secure it in place with a c clamp below the bottom roller.
